Bruce Gilliland died at age 75 on February 17th after a decade of fighting cancer. He was my friend, and friend to everyone who came in contact with him. In all my life, I know I will never know anyone as good and as kind and as caring as he. I am so grateful to have been included in the circle of his life and will miss him immensely.

I'm very sorry to hear about your friend. I'm also very sorry he had to battle cancer for 10 years. Its hard to understand sometimes why such wonderful, loving kind people have to experience this disease-seems like they should be immune because of their loving kindness. You and his family are in my thoughts. Take care.

I am so sorry! It's a very sad thing when someone so wonderful leaves your life. Cancer is terrible and sad. You have our sympathy and are in our thoughts.
